March 29-April 1, 2012
Indianapolis, Indiana

NSTA invites science educators to the ultimate professional development event, the annual National Conference in Indianapolis, March 29-April 1, 2012. There, thousands of K-16 science teachers and administrators will meet to participate in the discussions about critical issues in our education system: Next Generation Science Standards, STEM or STEAM, inquiry-based learning, differentiation, integration of science and reading, English Language Learners, and more. Nearly 2000 sessions on content, strategies, classroom techniques, and hands-on activities will inspire teachers and build new skills and enthusiasm for their profession.

Impressive featured speakers, Bill Nye the Science Guy, author David Macaulay, and former NASA astronaut Leland Melvin are just a few on an inspiring list who will share their stories and expertise. Network with your peers, enjoy the Exhibitor Hall with cutting edge products and giveaways, take field trips to local hotspots, and attend preconference, full day programs for in depth learning.
